At Stella Dolls Studio, each piece is carefully prepared with attention to design and craftsmanship. Because many of our products are made to order and involve detailed production processes, our return and refund policy is structured accordingly.

1. Made-to-Order and Customized Items

Most of our items are produced specifically for each customer. As a result, orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once production has begun, except in cases of verified quality issues or shipping damage as outlined below.

Before production starts, cancellation requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any costs already incurred (such as materials or production preparation) may be deducted from the refund.

2. Quality Issues

If your item arrives with a confirmed manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and a description of the issue.

After review, we may offer one of the following solutions at our discretion:

  • Replacement of the affected part
  • Repair guidance or support
  • Partial refund
  • Replacement of the product (in rare cases)

We reserve the right to determine whether an issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect.

Minor variations in appearance, color, or finish that result from the handcrafted production process are not considered defects.

3. Shipping Damage

If a product is damaged during transit, customers must:

  1. Take clear photos of the packaging and product immediately upon delivery
  2. Retain all original packaging materials
  3. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment

We will work with the shipping carrier to assess the situation and provide a reasonable resolution, which may include repair, replacement parts, or other appropriate solutions.

4. Returns Not Accepted for Personal Preference

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or provide refunds based on:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal preference
  • Subjective expectations
  • Minor differences from photos or descriptions

We encourage customers to review product information carefully and contact us with any questions before placing an order.

5. Non-Returnable Conditions

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds if:

  • The product has been used, altered, or modified
  • Damage is caused by improper handling or storage after delivery
  • The issue is reported beyond the timeframes stated above

6. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institutions.

Shipping fees, handling costs, and other service-related expenses may be non-refundable unless required by law.

7. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned due to incorrect address details or failure to cooperate with delivery or customs procedures, any additional shipping, storage, or return costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.
